I just read a newspaper article about businesses that do nothing but provide care for the animals of others. It said that they charge about $12 to $15 for a 15 minute walk. That seems rather high to me, but then I don't know that business.

Depending on dog size - as you would have to pick up the doggie dos as well!!
£2 Small dogs
£3.20 Big dogs
Seems reasonable, check out the website below for some tips from a business woman running a dog walking scheme

I would say between 4 and 5 dollars per walk. Many places are hot right now and dogs don't like being out in the heat. I would not charge by the hour.

It depends how long you take them out for and also how rich the owners are, maybe £10.00 for a 6 day week to start with till the dog is used to going for a daily walk and can't do without it then you can up the price to double or tripple that as the owners will be to lazy to do it themselves.

I used to pay about $20 a day for a professional service to come to my house and take my dog for about a 30 minute walk.

I pay my neighbours 14 y/o daughter £2 per walk, anything from 15 - 30 mins, agreed between us as it's not every day and in her words 'it's doing me a favour cos I need to lose my bum, and fitness classes are too expensive' lol. She's going to go far!

11 yr old...lets see...$10 a day seems fair to me...if you were a professional, I would say between $15 - $25.
