A female cat is pregnant anywhere between two and three months, depending upon her age and number of litters she has had. Her nipples will fill up with milk usually about two or three days before she gives birth. You might want to try squeezing milk out of one. If it comes readily, expect to be a "grandma" in a few days. If you get none or it comes really hard, you probably have about a week to go. Also, depending on how long you have had the cat, depends on if she will try to hide the litter. It also depends on if she is an indoor or outdoor cat. An indoor cat is more likely to want their owner there for them. An outdoor cat will hide the litter. If your cat is an outdoor cat, keep an eye out for tom cats, as they will kill and sometimes eat the babies. Either way, congratulations on your soon to be arrival.

They are pregnant for about two months. Their nipples fill up but also, they go and hide if they are about to deliever. Well it depends on cats, because I was with my cat the first time through, and next time she came out of her hiding and led me back to her nest. It was almost like she wanted me to be with her when she gave birth!
