She's 7 months old and has a good-sized yard. She also has access to the porch. I feed her on the porch and yet, she still prefers to pee and crap on the porch. She hasn't ALWAYS done this, but started after a day's worth of rain, when I guess she didn't want to get her feet wet. But now she KEEPS using the porch, and sleeps in the yard!! WHAT can I do?? I even put NEW rugs on the porch, and she craps on them!

I feed my shih tzu left over bones and some rice and stuff like that and sometimes i wonder if some type of food might give him a disease or get him sick.

My beautiful puppy is about 5 months old. Ex bf said she was a beagle/boxer mix. But my mom is claiming she has dalmation in her ( she has a bunch of tiny spots on her back, could be possible) I've never seen a beagle/boxer mix so I'm really unsure. Everyone says different things.

The quick in my wetie's toe nails is too long for them to be cut. How can I fix/prevent this? His toenails are already so long that they keep breaking, and the vet said she couldn't cut them or it would hurt him. What do I do?

We adopted our puppy and was told she was the runt of the litter. Her mother is a pure bred American bulldog, and the father is unknown. Baby Rylee, however, is very small, 15 pounds at 3.5 months of age, so we are assuming she was mixed with a much smaller breed than the American Bulldog. But I was also wondering is it just because she is the runt? She eats very well, has been dewormed several times and still isn't gaining much weight. The Vet says she is fine, but does anyone else have any advice? Is it normal for her to be so small and is there anything special I need to know? I've serached the internet for info, but haven't found anything good. Her adoptive brother is only a month older than her (terrier mix, unknown parents) and he is 27 pounds. Thank you!!

I just got my living room furniture re-done and my two cats have decided to make it their own. They have been scratching here and there, and sleeping on the couch, leaving lots of fur all over. I put sheets over the furniture, but it seems silly to have new furniture that I can't even see...I love my cats, but I need to figure this out. Thanks everyone!

I have 2 dogs right now, a shnauzer, and a westie (named Crackers). My westie is 7 years old and a poorly trained little dog. He isn't very responsive- he barely comes when you call him. He's very independent and does not like much human contact. Now, I have been doing a lot of research so I won't screw up training my new dog (the shnauzer) and I've read that it is really important to get your dog to respect you. I have a feeling that Crackers does not respect me in the least. I really love my Westie and I would like him to respect me, but at the age of 7, is it too late to get his respect? Is it too late to train him? Please respond.

The person i got him from named him cinder - but he doesn't seem like a cinder. Unique names are better.

As you can see by my sn I LOVE dogs. But I have 3 cats. (ironically) My whole family are cat lovers and I've been begging for years to get a dog but my parents still won't budge. What can I do to change their minds and finally get my dog?

And I've already tried the "getting a small dog" "I'll take care of it" approaches.

I just managed to get the bunny in an empty kennel. My kitten was trying to chew off its leg, and it got away from her. There is quite a bit of fur and skin that has been bitten off by my kitten (ps, she never goes out, except for on our enclosed porch. The porch has very high ( 8 foot stone walls) all the way around, with one gated door. I think this little rabbit sqeezed under the gate of the door. Anyway, I now have the kitten inside, away from the little bunny rabbit who is still on the porch in the enclosed kennel. It has an obvious wound, what should I do? It is injured. I want to put neosporin on it.
