Cats cannot live on vegetarian food and be healthy. Some people feed them some kind of yeast product. Cats are carnivores by nature and need a lot of protein, not plant protein.

You can't make a cat vegetarian. They're meat-eaters, and nature made them that way. They need meat protein to survive, and that is their primary food group. You'll have to put aside any of your own ideologies on that one altogether if you want to have pets -- you have to do what's right for them. Your ideologies mean absolutely nothing to them and could, in fact, endanger them.
We can give you specific care tips if we have a better idea of what you need to know. You need to get kitten food (dry and canned) of good quality, water/food dishes, litter box, litter, etc. You didn't say how old the kitten is which is concerning. If it's eating solid food it will probably know how to use a litter box. If it's not, it's too young to be away from it's mother and if it's orphoned you'll need to feed it kitten formula. As for litter training, you pretty much put them in the box after meals or if you see them "assume the position" anywhere else, and they get it pretty quickly.

First off, You just have to give your kitten lots of love and attention.. let him/her know you are there master and you are here to take care of them. Second, Cats are Meat eaters, even though they are domesticated they are still wild.. they need to maintain a healthy diet of meat and vegetables, you just need to buy them a bag of dry food, friskies is good and inexpensive, you could also get iams which is very good for the baby. :) Now third, you need to get a litter box and bring the kitten to it, hold there paw and scratch the litter with it. It is in them to use a litter box, you will be surprised how fast they learn.. if they do have an accident in the house away from the litterbox let them know in a calm voice NO! and bring them to there litter box, maybe even put some of there feces in the box to help them know this is where this is done. Good luck and i hope i could help! :)

Any dry cat food is good and should be vegetarian. Litter training is very easy. Just show them where the litter box is. You may also want to put them in the litter and drag their claws through it. After that, natural instinct will take over. I have heard of a method to train your cat to use a toilet. I think you would probably have to wait until they are fully grown to do that.

Cats are carnivors and can not live healthly on vegiterian diet. It does not have enough protein in it for them to develop.
Why would you impose your eating values on your cat. It is normal for them to eat meat. If you want a vegietarian pet get a rabbit or something like that.

Proper nutrition is important, so make sure you feed your kitten, KITTEN FOOD........
Then you need to get a litterbox & litter, they learn to use it real fast, but you have to keep it sccoped out all the time, because if you dont keep it scooped out, they wont use it when its dirty!
Then of course they will need shots when they are a year old. Any health questions, dont hesitate to call your vet.

just show them a litter box and place them in...cats catch on fast that's about as much training as you need to do for them. cats are not vegetarians by nature and shouldn't be fed only a veggie diet.

lol.... that reminds me of the episode of the simpsons where the hippies taught the lion to eat tofu and it was all skinny and nasty looking....Cats not eating meat is ridiculous and cruel for the cat. Don't be surprised if your cat tries to eat you in your sleep.
