I have a grey and black cat as well. When she was little it looked like she walked though one big spider web ( neat designs on her fact that looked like a spider web so we called her spider. But if you don't like that name here are a few other names that I have named my cats:
spider, drist, snoop, ozzie, mystery, Howie, scooter, chester, jasper,or Roo.
We mostly named out cats out of personality or appearance.
Hope this helps~

What characteristics do you already notice about the cat? Maybe choose a name based on that. Cinder is actually kinda cute.

Spooky sounds kind of neat, but what about Lenny, Amos or Otis or Rosco or something.
I usually like people names for my animals, but since my one cat Satie (short for Satana, she was soooooooooooo bad as a kitten) is called something different by everyone in the house, I refer to her as the white cat. Just my thoughts
