The terms "if" and "could" imply that the wood chuck CAN'T chuck wood. However, by definition, a woodchuck is one who IS able to chuck wood. Therefore, if a woodchuck can't chuck wood, as the above question implies, then he is therefore, not a woodchuck, so the whole question is moot.
