I seem to have some hornets in my bedroom and I am not sure how they got in there. When they get in, they seem to fly towards the single bedroom window and they don't go anywhere else. I believe my mother sprayed some flea and tick spray around some open places (cracks, openings, etc) and I'm not sure if that is helping much, there is a graveyard of bees at the base of the window in the bedroom which means something is killing them after they get in. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to control this? We currently have an out-of-control hornets nest out front of our house i will be spraying this evening. Is there anything I should look out for? Thanks :-)

I can't find a hive, I don't know what kind of honeybee they are, I live in So. Calif in a beach community, pest control hasn't helped, kits at the hardware stores only catch other types of bees like wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets.

I only just defrosted it and already there are long strands of frost coming from the top of it, and it feels damp. It is causing problems because eventually the freezer door won't close which in turn stops the fridge door from closing.

We just moved into a new house and they left the pool uncared for. It is flourescent green. The season is over and we want to close the pool but we know we have to clean it first. What do we do? We are going to head over to a pool store tomorrow but I just wanted to get a heads up.

About a week ago a spot in my yard began to get soft and sink. It's spreading and getting deeper! The water line isn't anywhere near there and our bill isn't sky high, so it's not that. It could be the sewer line, cuz it's pretty aligned...but if it's NOT THE SEWER, WHAT ELSE COULD CAUSE IT? We don't live near a big body of water...or cliff. It's Ohio...

I'm ready to put window blinds up, but I see cracks around almost every window. So I'm hesitating and am thinking whether or not I should have the cracks fixed before hanging up the blinds. Thank you for any and all inputs!

Alright so this is kind of disgusting but yeah lately there have been these small black worm/snake creatures in my sink and I didnt know where they were comming from but then I realized theres this drain thing right on top (at least thats what I assume it is because when you fill up the sink I imagine thats what that little hole is for?) but yeah anyway I poured water into that hole and tons of those things came out so I dont think that hole is a drainage thing.. unless its clogged. so 2 questions. 1 what is that hole for, and two what are the snake things and how are they forming?

When installing a fence, do you normally tell the neighboring property owners that the fence is set back?
