I'm trying to decide on an apartment in South Carolina, but I'm in Massachusetts so I can't SEE them until Oct 24th... I'm wondering if anyone can describe to me how big 1200 square feet is? Is that a good size for a villa?

That is a pretty good size. Our house was 1200 sq. ft and had 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths before we added on to give you an idea.

It's a fairly good size space for an apartment. One thing you can do is check out some apartments in the area you're at now. Ask about square footage and see if they have an open model you can look at. I'm a visual person and would need to see it.
