Is it possible to grow mushrooms in your garden? I'm from northern Indiana. Are any types of mushrooms illegal to grow? Do they have to be in a certain enviroment? I'd like to grow fly agera mushrooms... But they're a type of hullicangenic mushroom. Is that safe?

Typically I would have a garage sale on Saturday and Sunday. Then I heard Thurs and Fridays are becoming better days to have garage sales. But I really don't know why. So, a few neighbors and I were thinking on having a garage sale, but we can't decide on Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday. Those of you who do this stuff frequently, please advise!!!

There seems to be 1 bumble bee hovering right outside my door. I was observing the bee and it would attack every flying insect that came 10 feet near it (butterfly and otherbees) and then return to its spot. I was within 3 feet of it and it would not attack. I'm curious, because i've heard rumours that they can't sting, should I eliminate this bee? Because I feel it is guarding something like a hive and I don't want more of these guys flying all around my backyard.

I have the dirt all turned and dug up ready to plant my vegetable garden but I noticed a lot of ants in the dirt. I am thinking when my veggies grow the ants will eat them? Will they? What is a safe way to get rid of the ants without putting poison in my vegetables?

My gf's apartment is poorly insulated, so this past winter it was freezing inside. Now it's not even close to how hot it's going to be this summer and her apartemtn is already blazing. We're in the process of sticking up on fans for every room, but how can we keep the heat out? Would big, heavy drapes work so heat doesn't come in through the window?

I recently purchased a Hoosier cupboard/cabinet. It has the Seller's manufacturing tag on the front, and the paper tag on the back.

I believe the cabinet is made from oak, but I don't really know how to tell. Are there any signs or unique characteristics that would tell me the type of wood the cabinet was made from.

Here's a picture of the cabinet -

I live in a rowhouse in Baltimore and was wondering for resale purposes, should I replace the AC window units for central air (lowest quote was $5300) or should I pump that money into updating the kitchen? Which one will help out the most when it comes time to sell in this competitive market?

i have nats everywhere. It seems like every morning there are like 100 more of them. They tend to be over the kitchen sink and dishes. I clean the dishes and clean everything but yet there are still there. I tried the natt stuff you buy at the store, the sticky paper. That cought 1. So it was no use. Just wondering if there is something i can do to get rid of them. I really dont wanna spay any flamable spray because the stove is right by the sink it's all atached. (i live in a studio appartment) so u can only imagine how small the kitchen is. I seems like they are just spreading too....someone help me!
