i go all the time and i don't have a large family but i like buying bulk amounts of paper towels, napkins and toilet tissue, that way, i don't have to buy for a long time. it's also good to shop there for someone going off to college.

LOL - I don't think politics has anything to do with that decision. I am sure as many Democrats and Independents shop there as well. I am an Independent and I do try to buy strictly American Products but they aren't always easy to find. Even my Levi's and Wranglers have finally left America. We buy a lot of Louisiana products and we shop at a local Louisiana Grocery Store. We also have switched to Abita Beer (local Louisiana) from Bud-Light because Budweiser is no longer American. PS: My Nissan Titan Truck was made in Tennessee does that count. LOL

As with most "Warehouse" stores you must compare prices there are times that just because the package is large doesn't mean the price is better. I found in my area that WalMart and Sam's have the same price for paper towels and toilet paper. There are other times that the savings don't make up for the lack of storage space bulk buying requires.

I usually will buy a whole boneless rib eye or sirloin and cutting steaks and roasts myself. Then keep them in my large chest freezer until used.

Join! Sam's club is worth the money and I'm single. They do sell in bulk but they also have neat things that are there once and then never more. If they have something you might want, buy it, it may be gone your next trip. I've purchased tires, paper towels, toilet paper, many different types of frozen food, great selection. I buy best sellers, books, cheaper than my local book store. Try it, you'll like it!

I have been a member at Sam's for more than 10 years. I like the store. They carry good quality items.
They have clothing, furniture, lots of merchandise besides food.
One thing that makes the shopping trip more fun is they usually have samples of different food items. Every one gets to sample. They also have a lunch counter that has good reasonable pizza.

I also recommend a store called Aldi's. The food is good quality and a bargain. You don't need to be a member.

good prices and you buy in bulk. $30 is a pretty good price for a membership, but i suggest shopping there if you really need to buy something in bulk, because if you buy anything other than that it's just a waste. check out samsclub.com

Sam's Club is only practical if you have LARGE family, or a business that that allows you to buy at almost retail prices.

we have one in our city, and I have shopped there. The prices are better than most. Sometimes you do have to buy in quantity, but that is mostly on things you get in the grocery store. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

I currently use Costco now. It is higher priced but it is closer to me and with the price of gas, I go there.

I won't pay to shop at any store. I use my dad's card for free. Some of the prices are good, some are not. The selection is meager.

You can check their pricing out online.
