just that, killed a copperhead with my Ka-Bar and now I need to make sure it doesnt have any of the venom left on it. We cooked it and ate it, tasted mighty good.

the knife cost about $65 and is new, its not getting thrown out. I was told to wash it in bleach water and then put fire to it, but I just wanted more opinions.
