I've had this baby bamboo plant for almost 2 years and I keep it in a jar of water on the window sill. For the past 23 months, parts of it have been turning brown and stale and it seems like it hasn't grown at all! Please help, thank you!

Hey,
we moved into this apartment (in oklahoma)at the beginning of last year and it has these two rosebushes planted out front. The silly things are as tall as I am and seem to be slowly dying.
I don't know what sort of rosebushes they are or what's wrong with them, in fact, I don't know the first thing about plants. I would like to keep them well though, because they are very pretty.
The stems are turning from green to this yuckie yellowish brown color, and a lot of it is dead. Last summer I cut out a lot of it and did so again just now. I tried to get rid of most of the dead parts but can't get them all.
Does it have a disease, or do I just need to take care of it somehow. I have no idea what the former owners did or didn't do with it.
How do I take care of it?
Please help.

I just found out I have possums in my backyard. The possums have already ate all the fish in my koi ponds, made a mess of my compost heaps and dug several holes in my backyard. How do I keep them out? I don't want to set traps. Or how do I at least make it harder for them to get into my koi ponds or compost heaps.

I'm getting married soon and its kind of a role reversal situation. I have a great job and my career is really advancing. My future hubby and I discussed that and decided together that we want kids right away and that he would be the better choice for the person to stay at home and take care of domestic things so I could advance my career and become as successful as possible. He seems to be really into the idea and thinks it would be great to have the house clean for me and dinner ready when I get home. I just wanted to see if there are any other women out there in similar situations and what their expereinces have been. From what I have been hearing, this is pretty common these days because women are generally becoming better educated and getting higher paying jobs than men.

My kitchen has been invaded by small insects that look like a gnat, but don't have any wings. They are approx 2-3mm in size and I have seen one of them jump to avoid me killing it. They have gotten into everything in my pantry that was not in a can or sealed in a plastic container. They seem to especially like sugar and baking mixes (like muffin mix, etc.). Does anyone have a clue what kind of bug they might be???

The bees burrow into the trim work on my house laying their eggs. Woodpeckers find the holes and peck open the trim getting to the grubs.........destroying my trim work. Does anyone know how to kill the bees or make them go away. Wasp spray and other pesticides that I have tried do not work in the least.
