tried that at union meetings, the words `brick` and `wall` spring to mind, some of the union principals belong back in the early 20th century

Make the most of it. Everyone gets lost when they are given time off but sometimes while your at work you pine for time off. I guess were never happy are we?

I would suggest going to a bar and meet up with some new people. Just start a random conversation with a group of people and ask them their views on your strike.

The world is your oyster fella....enjoy it!

Put your uniform on, and go and delivery the p45's to your union reps. Royal Mail are just going lose the lot if they're not careful. A work to rule I can understand, but an out and out strike helps no-one. Businesses suffer, customers suffer and the postie suffers because he/she won't get paid.

Go down the pub like all the postmen do.

If you don't agree with the CWU suicide pact with Royal Mail, get down to the union meetings and say so. Unless you do, the union fat cats will get even fatter and you'll be out of work.

go for a nice long walk in the park and countryside and take time to sit back and enjoy nature while u can.................have u actually looked at a tree? Think how old it is and what is has seen over the years.

We all lead hectic lives and never take time out to enjoy the things around us that we take for granted........

Alternatively you could sit on here all day and earn a few points?

Personally i am clocking off soon and going off to the pub.....

Enjoy

Go for a long walk, isn't that what you do every day anyway. See a movie, Shopping, Gardening etc There are so many things to do, don't waste a day off.

Start up you own business in delivery. Give Royal Mail a run for their money.

PS. you don't HAVE to go on strike - you can go to work and get paid even if you doing nothing.

go out somewhere nice. I was a postman many years ago, dealt with more than one strike. It won't last forever.
