Help! Raid isn't working on house centipedes!?

Question

since i saw a house centipede in my apartment a couple days ago, i've been obsessively spraying the insecticide Raid everywhere. But just now i saw one come out of the wall and crawl across my room. I killed it, but there are probably tons more and i need to get rid of these things! please help!

+Spectracide "Bug Stop" available at HomeyD, Lowes, has residual effects, even kills fire ants. Good stuff.
