my house was built in the 1920s and it still has a lot of the original details, including all of the glass doorknobs. are these valuable at all if i sold them on ebay or something? i love them but my husband hates them because they're stripped inside and could fall off at any second. he's afraid he'll get locked in the bathroom when i'm not home, LOL!

Hi,
I am selling online and to friends and family from different catalogs i have, the main catalog has many, many different items, from outdoor items, (household items, kitchen, bathroom, items for your home basicly) Fountains, jewlery and much more.. My question is basisicly if you were to look at one of these catalogs what would you be more interested in looking at? And what would you be more likely to buy out of any catalog? I want to know what to specificy in so i appreciate any input. Thanks alot

I'm buying a new home & recently found i can choose the colors of the carpet, paint, floors, appliances & everything else i want.
I want a light blue carpet but i'm thinking of a lighter color like teastain it is a pretty color. I like darker colors but i heard they are terriable for resale. I heard i should go with light colors.
1. Does the colors i choose really hurt the resale value of the home?
2. Should i go with custom wooden blinds or the plain white ugly blinds?
All advice will be considered.

The plywood is first wrapped in batting to give it softness and the batting is stapled to the board. Then the cloth is wrapped. The valances would be approximately two different sizes: 1) 7 feet long by 18 inches deep to go over a sliding glass door, and 2) 3 feet by 18 inches for two smaller windows.

We just had an add on framed in, and I am worried about the CO2 seaping up into the bedroom through the floor and where it hooked onto the house. IT was just attached to the side of the house. I have thought about sheet plastic, but how do I seal where it is against the wall? Do I use that spray foam? We could not afford the builder to compete the job.

They aren't very thick velvet (I got these at Target), and the velvety texture is only on one side. BUT it does say to dry clean only, and I am nervous about ironing them.

Should it be a moist or dry iron? Low/high setting? I am also going to use Stichwitchery to shorten them, so I need to iron the velvety side at the bottom.
