i've always had problem deciding and goiong through my stuff. i'm a bit sentimental and undeciding and always end up proccasinating when it comes to dejunking. do you think it would be better if you drink it up? i know i'm pretty decided to do it. i have some guts sometimes. just doubt myself what i will achieve.

Huh? Dejunking? You mean coming off of drugs? I asked every one in the house (ages 19, 20, 21, 44, & 45) and apparently none of us are hip on the meaning of the word.

Okay... do you mean re-organizing and throwing your junk away? If so, as an organization freak, I might be able to help.

Dear Me,
I doubt if you will reach your goal if you start drinking. If your goal is to de-clutter your room/apartment, you might be more successful to have a friend who is very orderly come over and sort things with you . . . .

Just a hint . . . .it helps if you decide what is really important to you. If memories are important, perhaps you can take photos and make a scrapbook/photo collection and write a short description of who gave you the item and why it means so much. Then all the "memories" are in one little book. If collections are important, figure out a way to consolidate them into a wall display, a basket, or a display that you can rotate the items every few months so it's ever changing?????

Brainstorm, but I doubt if drinking will help you come up with the solutions you long for.

Good luck!

drinking makes you sentimental.... so I would say no.... don't do it. Instead, try putting on your favorite music that gets your blood going. And dejunk! Get rid of stuff you haven't used or looked at in 1 year.. Keep only the things that really make you happy. And perhaps if you think about this, it'll be much easier....

Is anyone you know going to be willing to bury you with your stuff when you die????????? 'Cause if you think about it, you really can't take all that stuff with you when you go.... sorry. So hang on to the memories in your heart and soul and get rid of the material stuff...... You'll feel much better after. Trust me...
