Yes. THey have routes scheduled and you can be put on one of those routes. They can tell you when they can p/u the stuff. If you can't be there, leave it outside with a sign that says "Salvation Army". And they'll p/u the stuff. Really easy....

Yes they will. I have had them collect unwanted furniture before. Im in Perth and all i did was phone the Salvo's. I have just checked and there is a collection service in the White Pages. Good old Sallys!!!! Hope this helps

All charities will only take soft furnishings if there are the fire labels still attached. This shows the filling meets British Standards for fire hazards. If you have any furniture to give with upholstery then this will apply. if it does not conform it will have to be dumped.

They usually will if you are local and the furniture is in decent condition. Call and find out their pick-up schedule.

Yes, but if you live above the 2nd floor you will have to get it down to at least the second floor yourself. I tried to get them to come and get a sofa when I lived on the 3rd floor, but they said for insurance reasons they couldn't come up there, I would have to get it down to at least the second floor.

Sometimes they do, it depends if they have the transport. Help the Aged do, or your local council often has info on local charities who do this.
