The air in my room is really dry -- I think it's because of my oil-filled radiator. It has a tank for water, which should humidify the air, but I still wake up constantly throughout the night with a parched mouth. Does anyone have any ideas how I can raise the moisture in the air in my room?

I've recently moved into a new home, and I'd like to put pergo flooring in the halls. Are there any companies that offer wholesale prices that are more reasonable than local retailers?

Everthing about my apartment right now is great except for one thing. The ceiling and floors are very thin in the building and I am constantly hearing the people above me walking around and making noise. I'm on the 4th floor of a 5 floor building. I need to get to the 5th floor so there is no more noise. That will probably mean moving into a studio apartment, because there are no one bedrooms available, and it may take several months or even years before one is, who knows. The noise is really driving me crazy. Should I just take anything on the 5th floor?

I'm putting in a gas fireplace and using the bricks as tile.. The bricks would be too thick and heavy in the location I'm using them if they were whole. I'm using the bricks because they are old bricks from my house that I've saved so I could use in projects that I want to match the rest of the house. My contractor says he'll have to rent a brick saw. It's 10 degrees here. Is this probably going to be a wet saw? Am I going to have to wait untill spring?

I've never try to do it before and as a interior decorator, I really have this question in mind to help me for future projects.
If it is possible let me know the kind of paint you can use and if the paint can stay long. Thanks!

So I have these end tables, with those glass tops that are un-attached, and you just set the table top on these little rubber buffers that help keep it in place. Well I took the tops off one day to move furniture around, and when I went to put them back on, my friend said I was doing it wrong. The glass has a beveled edge design, and I had always put the tops on with that edge facing up. She says your supposed to face that side down, cause when you set stuff on the table, it could teeter on the beveled edge, and fall off. Whatever! It's not that important, just curious if there's actually a right or wrong way. ;)

I'm in the market for a new set of bed linens. I have looked at several websites (Target, Macy's, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc) but most of the bed sets I have seen are really ugly. Any ideas as to where to look
