The air in my room is really dry -- I think it's because of my oil-filled radiator. It has a tank for water, which should humidify the air, but I still wake up constantly throughout the night with a parched mouth. Does anyone have any ideas how I can raise the moisture in the air in my room?

you can get water holders that you clip to radiators to keep the room moisturised if not then place a bwol of water above the heater.

When you raise the temperature in your room it enables the air to hold more water molecules and this lowers the relative humidity. You must either provide more water vapor to the room, lower the temperature or keep the room closed so that the extra water vapor doesn't escape so easily.
Buy a vaporizer and keep the bedroom door closed.

Hang wet towels around the room on a hangar, especially near your head.
Sometimes, I put a lightly moist towel over my face to fall asleep.

You could turn off the radiator.

Or you could purchase a humidifier.
