In my living room I have taupe sofa's and black cast iron table's. My curtains match my sofa. (almost perfectly) this is my question... my frames are black and goldish. should I not use differnet color frames, or is it ok to mix and match?? mostly everyhting in the living room is taupe or black. I have two large frames that are goldish as well as my clock and also the hardware for my drapes are the same color gold. ????? Please give me some insight??????? If it is ok, what else can i add to bring out the goldish color or do i iget rid of it all together???

Hello,

Need your help and guidance please.

We are constructing our house. And the only place where we can have bathroom is the southwest corner.

Question 1) Is this a bad choice as per Vastu??
Question 2) If we do construct what negative impact it might cause.
Question 3) Is there a remedy to eliminate this ill effect?
Question 4) Which area of the house we can have the bathroom constructed.

Kindly Suggest.

Regards,
Ambica

I have a 2 bed-room flat in Ahmedabad, Western India. I want to buy the adjacent flat, remove the partition wall and make a it a big 4 bed-room flat. A friend discouraged me stating that expansion towards south is not advisable. I want a second opinion. If moving towards south is not advisable, can I buy the southside flat in my wife's name, live there for some time and then move towards the north after removing the partition wall? (At present I don't live in my flat).

I just bought a new bergandy leather couch and a super dark brown recliner. In an attempt to make them match, I bought a dark red micro fiber throw type of blanket for the chair and I plan to get two super dark brown throw pillows for the couch. Do you think this will work?

Okay, I'm bisexual, and I'm.. okay, I'm not 'emo', but if I were to be labelled, I would probably be labeled 'bisexual emo poser-preppy' or something like it. I want my walls to express who I am, but I'm running short on imagination, which is kind of weird for me, but I'm stuck. I love music like The Darkness, Atreyu, Letters to Cleo, Joan Jett, and I also like oldies. Like Pat Benatar, and Cyndi Lauper. I idolize Madonna. I'm atheist. I'm also 15 and am the kind of person who doesn't care what other people think about her. There's just a little insight to who I am/what I like, and if you have any suggestions, hook me up. Thanks. Much love.

Is there a secret to carving a pumpkin, without the awkwardness of moving the blade around in a forceful, bumpy motion....I'm afraid of cutting myself, yet I want to get a lot of detail in it. I've heard of blades for kids...but are those capable of anything very creative and not just triangle eyes and zigzag mouths?

My son wants to redo his room and wants a border that looks like green dripping paint or green slime like in Nickelodeon. Anyone seen anything like this? I have been on the computer all evening without any luck.
Thanks for helping,

i need to know where to find this picture frame. i beleive it is called a tripod picture frame. im not sure. it is probably 4 feet tall give or take. it folds out into three walls kind of like a room divider does, and you put pictres in it. it usually has 4 places running down the center to hold 8x10 pictures then on each other side has places for 5x7s and a few smaller sized picture. I know this sounds complicated but i dont know what its called.

When we grouted our tile we didn't get the grout off. Our tile is not smooth. Looks like slate so there are pits and grooves and that is where the problem is lying. I can not get it out of the pits and all. Is there maybe a solvent I can buy or a home remedy that I can try? I have used a type of scouring pad, but i am afraid of damaging the grout lines (discoloring) and the tile itself. We also used a solution we mixed in with the grout called Super flexible additive. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Need to get it off so we can enjoy our work and also want to put furniture back.
