I do hane a garage that they can stay in.

i think friday would be better,depending on the size of your pumpkin,it could start to shrivel but hey its halloween theyre meant to be scary!

If you carve them Thursday afternoon/evening and keep them cool in you garage they still will be ok on Saturday.

I think it would be fine to do them a couple of days before - my carved out pumpkins usually last until Firework night (Nov 5th) - collapse is imminent thereafter, though!

they should be o.k. as long as you do not lite them..if they do begin to get a little droopy, soak them in cool water..they will plump back up..have a good time.
