We're currently having our kitchen renovated. We bought our countertop from the Home Depot. My question is: Do I have to tip the person who's installing the new countertop? And if so, how much? Thank you for your time. =)

This type of molding is usually in the the lower half of a wall, sometimes below a chair rail. It is strictly decorative and is usually in a white or off white on a wall of a darker color. What is this style of moding called?

Here is a picture example.

I'm looking at purchasing some bathroom fixtures, and I've been told to get something in brushed nickel. Interestingly, it looks like I can find a less expensive option on some items in matte nickel. Can I combine matte nickel and brushed nickel - and have it look close enough?

Well thats the era I grew up in. I admit I do have a couple beaded curtains and a couple pepsi crates with nicknacks in them and some old tins on a shelf, but should I be offended? Seems this younger generation is wearing alot of clothes that look like what we wore in the 70's. How should I take that comment?

I was told something of a polymer base would work. I am remodeling the inside of my double wide and have took down the strips of the seams at the joining of the drywall but the compound that I was told to use by a local hardware store has cracked over the winter. I followed the instructions carefully now I am back to square one. So if someone knows the name brand of a product that will fill small cracks in walls like the and not split or crack once it is painted over I would appreciate it :)
