I don't know what kind of paint it is exactly, but it says "premium interior paint" on the can, if that helps. I started painting my bedroom, got sick, and completely forgot to take care of the painting supplies. I would like to salvage the brush, if it's possible, and also the metal tray that you pour the paint into. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I want to get this for my son but it appears that you can only paint metal or wood. Is this the case or can I use it on concrete walls.

We are looking at a new house that requires a lot of modernisation - 3 bed semi. Does anyone know how much I can expect to carpet 2 x reception rooms, hallway and stairs, landing and 3 bedrooms? Just standard fairly hard-wearing carpet, 1 colour no patterns, short pile, nothing too posh/pricey? I need to budget for everything and haven't got a clue as not done this before! Thank you

Hi,

I am interested to know that according to authentic chinese feng shui, where do I place my gold fish bowl in the living room. Also interested to know the number of fish I can place in the bowl, as well as what do I feed the fish and how many times. Do I need to change water daily and are gold fish easily available.

Thanks

We are interested in waterproofing the cellar in our flat which is on the ground floor of a 1870s built South London terraced house (for which we own half of the freehold). We want to use the room for computer equipment / storage of papers etc which the current dampness even with dehumifier doesnt allow.

The cellar is under the house's hallway and is 6 x1.85metres in size and just under 2 metres high.

From reading answers on here it seems we need to 'tank' the cellar to make it waterproof but how much is this likely to cost us? And would we be able to paint straight on or will it require a layer of plaster? The floor also will probably require levelling. And will we need planning permission - the house is in a conservation area but others in the street have had it done. Job wise will it require a specialist or are general builders ok?

Apologies for the multiple questions but I would like to have an idea of rough costs/ procedures before calling in builders for quotes

I need suggestions or maybe websites that give me ideas about the 'how to's' for hanging cloth up to give a room a "painted" look. I'm moving to a new apartment soon and they are forcing me to keep the paint white - which I absolutely can't stand. So I want to just use some small nails or maybe staples to hang cloth...what do you think?

I have a small bedroom with a black bedroom set-queen bed, nightstand, dresser, and armoire. The walls are white with tan carpet. I went out and purchased a sateen black down comfort with a set of soft pink sheets but Im not sure Im going to be able to use it because there is just way way to much black. Can anyone suggest any ideas. Im just wanting a room that is pretty soft and romantic. I love the new furniture but I dont have any idea on how to decorate with it. Im not a "red" person, its never been one of my favorite colors. Any ideas on whether i should return the comforter and sheets and start over? I have no accents pieces yet so Im starting fresh.
