You could cut the room at angles and decorate each side with complimentary colors but male/female themes. One wall with a diagonal would have blue and pink with pictures on the wall to correspond.

Match the lines around the room, making sure no one 'gender' always get the upper hand.

Just a thought.

Pick a neutral theme. Ask the two about common likes and dislikes. Let them pick the colors and help decorate in their own favs. If they can't decide between them, pick several bright colors and let them vote on their favorites. The teens can paint and help hang the decorations, assemble shelving, baskets and fold towels. Make them reswponsible for making it look and staying nice. Good luck!

Make it look like a tennis courtroom. Have the wall with the beds on it the score board with the youngsters names. the internet runs down the middle seperating the two halves. the lads wall could have a mural of a view he might like, jointly as the girls wall could have a mural of something a splash greater female. A unisex sport subject matter works nicely, via fact it provides a organic cut as much as the room.
