Need your help and guidance please.

We are constructing our house. And the only place where we can have bathroom is the southwest corner.

Question 1) Is this a bad choice as per Vastu??
Question 2) If we do construct what negative impact it might cause.
Question 3) Is there a remedy to eliminate this ill effect?
Question 4) Which area of the house we can have the bathroom constructed.

Kindly Suggest.

personally i think you need to basically turn everything around 180 degrees. southwest corner of your house seems to be the best place for the living room. in this way you will have natural light in the evening year 'round. kitchen is properly placed in the east or south east with dining area south for similar reasons. if i had any choice i would place the bathroom in the northeast corner or north side. however, a good argument could be made for bedroom on east side or northeast corner.

It is not a bad choice as per Vastu.
No negative vibration is supposed to occur due to this. Just keep this corner a little high in respect to the northeast and rest of the house. If possible try to place the overhead water tank above the bathroom. If you are going to use underground water, keep the bore well in the northeast direction.
There is no need of any remedy.
This is one of the proper area of the house depending upon the layout plan of the house and the location of the plot for construction of bathroom.
Still, if you have any doubt just keep a bowl full of salt (edible salt)in the bathroom.

the location is ok, as we too have our bathroom in the southern portion of the house, but take care to not have any attached rooms next to it, as the negative vibes arising from the room may influence you adversely. if there is an attached room, then the door of the bathroom should not face the bed. the wall adjacent to the other room or attached to the bathroom should have a big poster or wall to wall matting or any surface coverage to block negative vibes. the bathroom should be airy and well lighted, so that there are no bad smells around, or the water is not flooding the area. keep it dry and clean, and check the pipes properly for leakage before installing.
the direction is fine, ambica, just keep the walls that may be attached to the bedroom covered, and you can also keep potted plants there, or outside on a catchy corner!! all the best for the construction work!! cheerio!

1.Vastu will tell you so many 'don't's rather than 'do's. That is the secret of their survival.
2.There is no negative impact at all if you construct your bathroom in the south-west corner of your house.
3.Since no ill effect, no remedy required.
4.You choose as per your convenience. If you aren't good at choosing, an architect will help you.
After all, what you believe is your Gospel. You are sure to face unwanted developments if you begin to doubt after the construction.

To day people have to build where they can and meet local ordinance, and cost constrains. You have to take in to consideration the personal conveniences logistics of every thing in its place and a place for every thing.

For every mistake there is only one remedy accepting the responsibility and saying sorry. In this case a "Long Puja" will be in order, and a shot prayer Every morning, noon, evening, night and mid night, to eliminate ill effects if any.

Bathroom is constructed for our comfort. See to that it is easily reachable from other parts of your house.
If vaasthu says construct bathroom near kitchen, will you go ahead and do that?
