Okay, I'm bisexual, and I'm.. okay, I'm not 'emo', but if I were to be labelled, I would probably be labeled 'bisexual emo poser-preppy' or something like it. I want my walls to express who I am, but I'm running short on imagination, which is kind of weird for me, but I'm stuck. I love music like The Darkness, Atreyu, Letters to Cleo, Joan Jett, and I also like oldies. Like Pat Benatar, and Cyndi Lauper. I idolize Madonna. I'm atheist. I'm also 15 and am the kind of person who doesn't care what other people think about her. There's just a little insight to who I am/what I like, and if you have any suggestions, hook me up. Thanks. Much love.

rainbow decos are too obvious but i agree w/ the previous answer... bright colors are nice...you can paint your walls like abstract art or something!.. you can paint the ceiling black and put luminous stickers or very small light bulbs that look like stars...

Oh I could give you ideas, but just go to www.behr.com and play with their color selections.

OK, suggestions: find a color that goes with the flooring but still falls within your "favorite" area Go with a medium to nearly full saturation of color. Accent with the compliment but in several shades lighter. You dont want to beat yourself up with all strong colors. If you are thinking stripes and blocks in different colors, the room has to be large enough to carry it off.

Remember paint color varies with how the light hits the room. In our house, we have a large room with three exposures and to achieve a balanced look the artist/painter used two different colors so it would appear "the same" in certain light and different in other light.
On the plus side, paint is the best and cheapest way to redecorate.

Buy paint in the smallest size you can and try it out on the walls before you jump in 100%

That's a lot for a paint color to say! Choose your favorite color, and try a bold shade - it sounds like you've got a strong personality. Look at the other stuff you have (bedding, favorite pictures, whatever) to help give you inspiration if you're having trouble picking a favorite. You might try a turquoise, blue or violet, those are all strong colors but they don't agitate you like reds and oranges can so they're okay to use in a bedroom.

try this.. color scheme = Red, Black and White, But..
heres what u do... in the black & white colors u can have solid or mix and match all different patterns, but the Red has to say solid, no matter what.. its hot, just picture it... with usng different patterns(black and white only) u could do many things, .stripes, plaid, polka dots, music notes, geometricl shapes , all kinds of great things , but remember, the red has to remain solid, no mixing with colors...

Cornflower blue OR bright orange (my niece did that and I must warn you...it's hard to concentrate in such a bright room, but she thought it was the coolest thing and you remind me, in a lot of ways, of her).
