Hello,
is there any way I can cover a bright orange power wire coming out of my breaker box and going into the ceiling? Its only about 3 feet long but the bright orange wire sticks out like a sore thumb. I do not know or want to remove the wire from the breaker box. Is there some way I can cover it with a wireloom type condiut or equivlant?

The last time I painted was a few years ago, and we taped around the baseboards and stuff with regular masking tape and it worked just fine, we hardly had to touch up at all. Then we painted again this weekend, and the tape didn't work at all - we had to spend hours touching up. We used 3M painting tape.

Is there a better way to do it? Is there some entirely different method? Is there a type of tape that works better than others?

The glass top range in the house we just bought has these disgusting grease rings burnt on around the front two burners. What kind of cleaning agent should we use that won't scratch & ruin the stovetop? Any suggestions?

I have a new central air heating system with a new gas furnace. The whole house has one heating system but two zones. Whenever the upstairs call for the heating, the system starts to whistling. The noise is so strong that you can hear it anywhere in the house. Besides, I feel that the hot air blown out from the vents is very strong. It can shut a door if the door is open with about half foot opening.

Is this whistling noise normal? What is the solution to fix it?

Many thanks.

Okay, I'm starting to get spring fever and want to start planting some bulbs and seeds TODAY!!! However, usually I believe, you don't start planting until March and April. So could i start planting today since it is so close to March?
Also, I don't really want to buy a tiller at the moment, so i was thinking about getting one of those Garden Claws. If you have this thing, could you tell me if it works well. If not, have any good tips on how to break up soil that hasn't ever been broken up or hasn't been broken up recently? Thanks

I kissed an orchid at work, dont ask me why, I just did. The owner told me that the orchid would die now as they are not meant to be touched.

Does anyone know if this is true? or is it safe to touch orchids without the risk of the plant dying?

I will be pulling power off of the 14/2 cable in the attic above the bath on the same circut (end of run that powers a vanity light, switch and recepticle in bath. I'm assuming I will need to mount a junction box - have the 14/2 power coming into the box then from there 14/3 to the fan then 14/3 down the wall to a new dual switch.

Isn't a net profit of 10% enough? Why are big companies only catering to shareholders? Are they? I am a shareholder and have never endorsed gas companies to increase gas prices at the pumps for Americans.

They've been in the basement for quite a while. They're all interior wall paints-flat/semi-gloss/gloss. None are oil based (if it matters).

just moved into a very small town, only house available at the time. The neighbors need help...but I'm guessing I have to do the work. Here goes...they have 3 dogs, 2 in front yard, chained up and one in side yard next to my house, chained up. First problem is barking all the time. Second problem is they do not clean up after their animals. It is winter and we can still smell it. In the summer time we will have to deal with fleas and ticks. The fence line dividing our property is like chicken wire. Is there any plants that repeal fles and ticks and offers enough aroma to offset the smell. Can't move yet, so that's not an option. We live in missouri
