Spray with a little goo gone (get it walmart) and use a razor blade, so long as you run the razor blade flat against the glass you will not cause scratching or chipping. The goo gone loosens the paint a bit making it easier to remove.

Don't forget to go back over it with Windex after getting the paint off.

If it is a fine mist of water-based paint, sometimes just washing the window with regular window cleaner will do the trick. Any remaining spots can be removed by very lightly scraping with a razor blade.

a razor blade won't scratch the window if you use the length of the blade laying at an angle to the window ; they make a razor blade scraper for this. It is available at home & hardware stores.,

use a scraper with a brand new razor blade on it, just scrape the paint carefully be sure not to get the scraper on an angle or dig the edges of it into the glass.

Constantly keep the windows wet with water while attacking the paint with a scouring pad. If you have a metal scraper, that would work too but it has a higher chance of scratching the glass.

Use a razor. At a low angle, they will be no problems for the glass.
