The legal requirement is to have it through a 32amp MCB ,a 16 amp is not large enough because cookers take alot of power as do all appliances that heat ,dryers washing machines and immersions

32 amps supply, is what an electric oven/cooker runs from.

If it just an oven, without a hob, 16a is usualy ok.
check either inside the door or at the rear(the ovens) should have information label

Ours is breakered at 50 AMPS, @ 220 VAC of course.

The specification (voltage and current requirements) for a particular oven should be on the back panel. You should check it and not guess.

wel in the uk its a 30 amp fuse for cookers and elecrtic showers

our oven runs off a 32A breaker in the consumer unit.
so I would say 32A.
