So many options.....

Hairspray - it may take a couple applications but it will eventually work.

Rubbing alcohol - a little dab will do you.

WD40 - works like a charm too.

Hand sanatizer - it will take more than one try, but it will eventually come off.

Finger nail polish remover will also do the trick.

Goof Off removes tape and whatnot. It's sold at homecenters.

i used that blue painters tape on my wood work when i was painting, but it took several coating, which in turn took several weeks. when we took the tape off we had the same problem a reside was left. i used the product, goo gone. you just spray it on a cloth and it rubs right off.

Try a little metholated spirit on a cloth and dab it carefully.

all of those are good answers, but sometimes something dry works just as well. try rubbing it with a dry cloth and flour. works great!
