I'm redecorating my living room and am looking for some funky throw/toss pillows. Nothing with fake fur or neon colors but funky and different.

Does anyone know where I can find these pillows?

Thanks in advance for your help!! Have a great day!!! :)

I am trying a organic diet and want to grow my own vegetables without using pesticides. What is the best way I can grow lettuce & spinach without using harsh chemicals?

Also I have alot of clay in my yard, what type of dirt should I use?
Do I have to use a fertilizer? And if so what kind would you reccommend? (Not my own!LOL)

If you know of any great websites that tell you about growinbg your own vegetables (especially organic) I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

We've been looking at modular home floor plans. We love the Cape Cod style homes, which would allow us to live in the main level immediately and finish the upper level at a later time. See this link for an example: http://www.ritz-craft.com/sec_results.cfm?model=11361

Up until this point, we have been considering a one-level, ranch style home on top of a full basement (also to be finished later). We cannot afford both the basement *AND* the second floor -- and I would rather have the 2nd floor but am concerned with cost.

So, which is more economical (cheaper!)... pouring a 1,200 sq. ft cement basement beaneath a one-level home, or adding a second floor with about 750 unfinshed sq. feet and a crawlspace foundation?

Thanks for any help you can offer... I'm clueless!

I mean extreamly slow that most of what is in the bowl doesn't go down and you have to plunge.
I tried one of those liquids that did nothing. I think some wipes were flushed and made the flow slow.

What can be done?

I've started pulling the old tiles off the walls of the bathroom. Not surprisingly, the 100-year-old plaster is coming with them, so I will be down to bricks on two walls and laths on another.

Most of the surface is to be re-tiled.

I'm looking for advice on what sheet material to use to replace the plasterwork; thinking about the rigidity, especially on the stud wall, as the studs are 450 mm apart. I also have to try to keep costs down.

Is it ok to wash "dry clean only" materials??? Like maybe once once every 6 months or so... We have tried to dry clean our stuff, but it hasn't worked... We have a really nice comforter (king size) as well as matching throw pillows and pillow cases. They are mostly velvety... and the tags say to dry clean only...

2 pillow cases are..100% polyester

2 are..66%rayon, and 34% polyester on the front and 60% cotton and 40% polyester on the back

the comforter is the exact same as the last 2 pillows and is stuffed with 100% polyester

The throw pillows covers are 55% viscose and 45% polyester on the front and 100% cotton on the back

The pillow on the inside is 100% polyester.

I didn't know if anyone would need to know the materials to make an educated guess, so I put them here anyways....

I have tried a damp cloth to no avail.. What they really need is a good washing but we don't own any other dry clean stuff.. so I am not sure what to do.... Please help!!!!

I am decorating my kitchen with a itiliano/olive garden feel. I want cooking wine, small wine racks, exotic olive oils, lots of earthy tones like olive green, cream, and sand. I want to know some great ideas for my theme. I also wanted all the countertop appliances and such to be olive green b/c that is my base color. Kitchen-Aid used to have a olive green color in their set of hand mixers, blenders, toaster, and microwaves, which is, of course, now that I want it, gone. Where can I find three things: great decorating tips and tricks for the kitchen (theme in mind or general), where can I find olive green appliances (no fridge, stove, or freezers countertop appliances and accessories only), and where can I get theme specific ideas or help? Any help would be so appreciated as I want the kitchen done before we renew our vows :)
