I work cleaning houses. I just can not seem to find anything to get glass shower doors clean. The scum is almost impossible to get off. Does anyone know for a fact something that does work. I even thought using pure clorex would work and that did even help. I used a razor blade thinking that might work I need real help. Please if anyone knows a real answer other then , all the basic junk all the stores offer please let me no.

I've read that doing a load of laundry with just a cup of ordinary baking soda and a Downy Ball with some white vinegar in it will do a good job. Has anybody ever tried this?

I'm sensitive to fragrances and dyes so I normally use a "Free & Clear" laundry detergent, but this baking soda/vinegar combo sounds interesting.

I have tried washing them down but that didnt work, dry brushing is working but it is really hard work and I can only reach a certain area and can only do a few minutes at a time due to arthritis.
Is there another way to do it?

How can I remove mosquitoes in the back corner of my house? They are worse there than anywhere in my whole yard, sometimes they're even out during the middle of the day!

There is no standing water, just 2 big trees make it kind of dark.

Is there some sort of spray I can use to kill them? I'm not looking for something I put on myself, but something to put in the air to kill them. I plan on putting a workshop back there, but would like to get rid of the mosquitoes first.

Thanks!

I want to put new flooring in my kitchen and livingroom. Currently there is hardwood. I have a large dog and find that his nails scratch and put grooves in the foor (even though I trim them regularly). What type of flooring is good to use, that will stand the wear and tear. Thanks.

The ceiling was sanded,
Than two coats of Behr "Primer Sealer" applied
Than one coat of Behr "Ultra White Ceiling" paint
It looked streaky so I applied another coat, yet still the same thing.
The roller was a new, medium nap roller, paint was new and stirred well.

These are not minor streaks, but huge roller marks accros the entire ceiling. What could be the cause? Should I apply a 3rd coat...switch paints? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I recently had a new toilet installed and its caused nothing but problems eversince. The problem I'm currently having with it is the fact that when I flush it, the water will drain from the bowl, but it will not actually flush down the contents. I removed the top from the tank to see if the problem was coming from there. I observed that when I flushed the water would drain from the tank and fill back up (normal behavior). Is there anyone with experience in plumbing who can help me out. I really cant afford to hire a plumber rite now. Please answer A.S.A.P.
Thanx in advance

These neat little gadgets were made of very thin pressed plastic...hard, like football helmets are made from. They were a series of holes through which fabric was pulled, creating poofed loops which, when running the full length of them, could make really pretty window toppers, valances, and the base for lovely multi-length curtains. They attached to the tops of the windows with simple cup hooks. Also availabe were a couple of loops (one small, and one of a larger size) which were used to make designer decorator/throw pillows, and the extra vertical fluffs for Bishop sleeve curtains. They were REALLY great!!! I'd really LOVE to be able to acquire some more. Does ANYONE know anything about them and/or their availability at this time?

I have some old chairs with limited sentimental value, we'd like to keep as much of the original as we can, but we need new seats for them. The frames without seats backs just have open holes, and if we replace those we'll have to replace the armrests as well.

I saw these online(and no I'm not trying to sell anyone anything) and I was wondering if they worked? I'm trying to lower my power consumption and I've never seen such a thing. Does anyone have any experience with anything like this? I'd even settle for an educated guess. Thanks
