Some oils can be used but I would advice the use of a dishwasher tablet to clear the jets once a week (depends on how often the Barth is used )just fill the Barth drop the tablet in and run it for a few minutes it will clean all the muck out of the pipes and jets

Some you can, some you can't. The best thing to do is just buy the kind that is specially formulated for jacuzzi use. You should be able to easily find them at a spa/pool/jacuzzi store or at your local retail store in the spa/pool/jacuzzi department.

the owners manual to mine ,which is a Pearl, says you cannot.
