5 year new basement floor. there's some minor floor cracks, nothing jumping up and down. no water issues. I'd like to use a marble mosaic but not sure depending on what's best.

I don't see them in the winter where I live (Michigan - Indiana border).
Not that I can remember anyway, but this year, as of 2-3 weeks ago, I've been seeing them and hearing them every day .

So who's got the scoop ?

Obviously the bolt has a slotted head. Bit worried because I have installed a new garage and the instructions suggest using a slotted scredriver whereas I just went straight in and tightened right up with a socket-hope I haven't over-tightened.

All of the ones I see in the stores say "Not for use on dimmers", this stinks because almost all the lights in my place have dimmers on them. Where can I get some that do work on dimmers?

its a daily affair so it has to be something handy, easily available and something not too expensive .. cause polythene bags are basically dirt cheap.. i feel environment saving should be taken up in these little daily activities of our lives to make real impact. be as creatively crazily as you want to be. :))

there was a fire at my sister's house. the suspected cause was the jewelry box atop the bed. the fire, they claim started at the lower compartment of the jewelry box, which was where the watches were kept. is this possible?

Strawberry plants that appeared to be growing healthy and strong have recently developed a white powdery looking coating on all leaves which in turn makes large holes in the leaves. I do think I may have been overwatering them. The plants are on pots in potting mixture. Can anyone offer some advice please before I lose all my plants? Thank you.

My husband and I are moving from our duplex (much like the size of a large apartment) to a house in the immediate local area. We have the basics: living room set, dinning table, bedroom set (1), washer and dryer, and other small furniture peices (computer desk, etc). Is it worth it to hire professional movers or to do it ourselves. And what would be the typical cost for a small move?

I am finding that the more expensive hob units do not have any Halogen zones in their specification. (We are not interested in Induction because of the weight of the pans involved [arthritis])
