I have heard that these are not all they are cracked up to be, have you got one? I would prefer an upright, would like it to be usable as a vacuum only, but also to shampoo the carpets well when required (my husband is a mechanic, the muck gets everywhere!

I was inquiring about returning my regular temperature Rustoleum spray paint, when an associate at Home Depot informed me that I could also use this on my radiator without a problem. So, once I used my supply of high temperature paint, I began using the regular paint to spray-paint my radiators. Now, I have hooked the radiator back into the heating system and there is a horrible smell. Will this smell go away over time? Is this bad for me? If so, how do I get this off and start over with the high temperature paint?

I glued two dark brown wood chairs with Gorilla Glue to fix the back of the chairs , and it ran down the chair backs. I didn*t notice it until it was hard as a rock. I now have yellow glue runners on my dark chairs.. Any help to remove it? I tried painting over it with stain , but no help there.

I have a serious problem with mice in my home. I thought I had gotten rid of them, but they are back. And they brought the family and friends with them. Outside of calling an exterminator, what can I do to get rid of them, and keep them away? I don't really want to use poison, because I have a little dog.

I'm buying an older house (1964) with tar pitch roof, with a some incline (20 degree or so). I'm wondering how much it would cost to replace the tar pitch roof with a nice composition roof. Is this a very extensive operation? What kind of risks am I looking at?

Thanks in advance!

The one I got back from the dry-cleaner was in horrible shape! Totally ruined! I'd thought that if they couldn't do a good job of it, they'd just tell me ...

Some of my ties are polyester, but some are also silk.

Thank you in advance for whatever info you can throw my way!

My shower pump is overheating and keeps stopping, so I guess I need a new one. But which one? The trouble with the old one was that because the shower head was less than a metre below the bottom of the cold water tank in the loft, we had to unhook the shower head and lower it briefly to start the pump working. So my question is which bar pressure shower pump do I need to get to cope with this initial lack of pressure? Would really appreciate your help here.
