I was looking at house yesterday, and it's got lot's of potential. However it needs some major renovations, particularly the kitchen and the bathroom. In some of the rooms, the floor isn't level, which leads me to believe that there could be a problem with the foundation.
Another thing that makes me suspicious is the fact that this house has been on the market for six months and hasn't sold.

My wife and I love the potential the house has, but aren't sure if we want to put that much work into our first house. I want to get the home inspected too, because of the age and hope to use some information from the inspection in the negotiating. It's listed at 75,700, but the owner is desparate to sell. Do you think we can get the owner to sell for about 55-60,000.

I am down sizing my living arrangements and I am needing to get rid of some furniture. I am not sure how much I should sell it for, is there a web site to give me some pricing guidelines to follow? My landlord didn't put enough tiles up next to the shower and has just painted the rest, so some plaster has come right off. I just planted a double impatient plant in my garden . I have a shady spot (gets light in the evening hours say from 3 to 5pm) under the stairs where I planted this.when i got this plant i picked this particular one with healthy leaves and lots of buds. However The buds keep falling off the plant everyday.The leaves are still green and healthy however Iam worried that the plant will die. What can I do about it.Have I done something wrong.

My combi boiler loses pressure daily and has to be re-pressurised. Does this mean I have a leak? Could it be down to some boiler component failing? Should I be taking up the floorboards and checking the pipes for leaks as there is no sign of a leak from the boiler?

I had roots in my lines and the water backed up. Sewage came out of this pipe sticking out of my yard. It is unfortunately right off the back door and my kids filled it with dirt and rocks one day. IS this going to cause problems in the lines? I don't even know where the pipe leads to. I'm new to septic tanks.
