Yes,Gain cleans & smells great. Tide cleans well because it contains enzymes ( may cause some people to itch ). Arm & Hammer is a good detergent with good cleaning ingredients but doesn't smell as good as Gain. So,Choose your weapon!!!!

Tide with bleach in mountain spring is the best. Gain has a stronger smell but just doesn't clean as well. Also you can add about 1/4 a cup of ammonia to give Tide a boost it will freshen and have your clothes even cleaner.

Gain cleans just as well as Tide. But it reeks like cedar!! I hate the smell, they also have Gain Fabric softner.Gain, Tide, and Cheer are made by the same company, Procter and Gamble, so they should be of equal quality!! I use Sunlight, because it tends to be easier on sensitive skin and the price is right...

Most clothes aren't that dirty. You only need tough cleaning power for real dirt, grease, etc. If you have cooking oil spots or grass stain, pretreat them. You can even mix some gain with water -- make a paste and apply it to a stain before washing. I only use Tide because I can't find Gain HE in my area.

I have to say that Wisk works the best for me. I love the smell and as a pre-soak for spots and stains, it works the best of them all. Even after clothes or sheets have been put away, some days later they still smell fresh. My favorite.

Honestly... Yes. Plus.. It smells better than the other two. The other advantage is the price.
