The guy at the nursery says you need starter potatoes but the lady who has grown them for many years says all you need are regular, store-bought potatoes that have grown 'eyes'. Of course, I realize the nursery guy might have a motive in telling me I have to buy these special potatoes but maybe there is some advantage to them? Who out there in the land of Yahoo answers knows and can help me?

I have a light grey foyer floor - medium ceramic tile. Actually - I don't know if it's really ceramic but it's a hard surface. It is the hardest thing to keep clean! Does anyone have any suggestions for good floor cleaner?

Looking for a cheap picture framer or someone who knows how to do it yourself in the Bay Area (near Milpitas/San Jose)...I have a 28x28 print that I need framed with a mat so frame size will have to be 32x32. Michael's quoted me $236, way over my budget. Tried art.com but $170-$200 is still over my budget...looking for anyone who can do it cheaper. Thanks!

I got blood on my jeans and I put them in the washer but it didn't come out. I'm afraid I might have used hot water. Now when I try scrubbing with cold water the stain will not come out. Is there any way to remove blood when the stain has already been in hot water??

I rent and I can't replace them. I have tried everything from taking everything out and wiping them down with bleach water, from put a small pan of baking soda in there and nothing helps. I'm a clean freak and I can't seem to clean this problem. What do I do???

I want to install holdbacks for my curtains which are medium in weight. Is there a certain height/level in relation to the window frame as to where to drill/place the holdbacks? Also, is there a certain distance from the window frame that I should hook it onto or does it not matter at all except to my eye's appeal?

I know those are two major neutrals. So, I need a nice bolder color, I think. I'm not really into the seventies retro kind of stuff. I'm more traditional. Unfortunately, I live in an apt. so, I am not allowed to change the wall color and can't afford to change the carpet.

If I go on 1 side it looks dark, if I walk to the other side it looks lighter. Is tis common? It was hand made in India. I hope it is a good rug, I paid alot for it. I can still take it back but I think it looks cool so I don't really want to.

A ripe banana was left in a back pack for too long (2 weeks). I used oxyclean to remove the stain however, it still smells like sour bananas. Does anyone have suggestions on getting rid of the odor?

My garden is being taken over and I can't rake it out without disturbing my wild primroses. Is there such a thing as a selective weedkiller that won't harm the primroses or my oak tree.

I've seen them on Rachael's and Martha's shows, but where in New York City are they? I'd love to go in and find treasures.
