I received four cuttings from a plant that blooms at night and I have no idea what it is or how to care for it. I potted two of them and put two in vases. The two potted ones died and the two in vases seem to be living, but they aren't growing very much. I'm not sure what I did wrong with the potted ones, or what the plant even in, but it has tendrils and grows leaves off of leaves.

So im going to a house auction. the house has mold and the garage floor is collasping. the starting bid is ten thousand dollars. do you think I can get it for 15 thousand? will anyone be there? will anyone even want this house. it was on the market for fifty thousand for ages. If I could get it for 15 and put 50 thousand into it it will be a really nice home.

My neighbour & I have lived amicably since our houses were built 11 years ago. Very recently, my neighbour pointed out that the builders had marked our front boundary incorrectly. It is marked by paving stone & grass. 11 years ago, along the corner of my front garden I build an expensive and now established plant arrangement which includes minature trees, shrubs, rockery & plants.
I have checked the deeds & she is correct. The paving stone, grass & rockery is just under a foot onto their property.
I am quite prepared for her to 'have her land' but it would cost me a great deal to move the arrangement, which I cannot afford.
Legally where do I stand?

How to test a small engine ignition condenser?
For a small gas engine, aside from replacing it, can resistance tell you if its any good, for example?

I live in a student house with my 3 housemates. We've been here for about 5-6 months now and over the past couple of weeks, a blackish, circular-in-shape type mould has started to grow on the painted bathroom ceiling.

I have no doubt it's encouraged by all the steam from the shower, and I try to have showers with the windows open and extractors on, my question is two-fold however:

1) Is there anything that can be done to get rid of it on a long-term scale?

2) Could this problem be blamed on the landlord using the wrong type of paint? (Is there a wrong type of non-mould proof paint?)...because I would hate to see him keep our deposit by blaming the mould on us.

I've got a garden approx 600m2 which is almost all grass, but is on a slope. I'm looking for a lawn mower to cut the grass but am not sure whether ride ons can work on a slope, or whether I'd be better with a petrol mower.

I'm investigating the feasability of installing a grid tie-in home wind generator. Has anyone here installed one of these systems into their home's power system?

It's my understanding that you can install a new power meter to allow for "net metering" or reversing of the numbers by the created power from the generator, thereby saving money or reducing your monthly power bill.
