The average gallon of paint covers 400 to 450 sq feet. Check the labels for he paint you're planning on using. Plan on 2 coats of paint for good results. If you are making any drastic color changes it may take 3 or 4 coats, or a tinted primer coat before you paint.

How many coats of paint do you need to cover?
Are you using a quality paint? Is there a drastic color change? Is the surface solid and previously painted or is it porous like new sheetrockt?

Almost all paint cans list the avg sq footage on them. You can look at the can.

My guess is that it would be less than two gal.
