How can one little pen cause so much grief? Evidently, it is a common problem because Linda Cobb author of Talking Dirth With the Queen of Clean spends about a page in her book on it. You can try sponging the ink with rubbing alcohol, denatured alcohol (which is more effective) but test on an inconspicious place on the garment first because they can damage some fabrics. She doesn't suggest using hair spray, which used to work before they started to add oil which just spreads the stain. Acetone also works on certain fabrics though never on acetates. White, non-gel toothpaste rubbed firmly and vigorously works but should be followed up with a laundry spotter, like Shout, before re-laundering. Finally, soaking ink stains in milk will dissolve the stain, too.
If you use alcohol in the dryer (or any of the other flammable solutions), be very careful. It is highly flammable and could ignite when you use the dryer again. Make certain you have allowed the fumes to fully evaporate and then wipe out the dryer drum with a dampened terry towel before firing it up again. (Sorry for the pun.)

Carbona makes an excellent ink stain remover. I used it to take a huge ball point pen stain from my couch. It came out completely. Go to the grocery store, Target, Wal Mart or any store that carries Carbona stain removers. They have a whole line of stain specific removers. Get the Ink Stain Remover. make sure you put a clean cloth on the underside of the stain so you don't spread it. Then pour a little of the stain remover on it. rub it in and let it sit for a few minutes. Repeat if necessary. Then. the dryer, put a little of the stain remover on a soft cloth and wipe down the dryer with it. After most of the stain is removed, get a cheap white terry towel and make it wet. Then pour some of the Ink stain remover on it and throw it into the dryer. Dry it on a cooler setting. After that, I'd wash the white towel and some other clothes (make sure they are old so if there is any stain left, if won't hurt them) or just do a load of rags. Dry them in the drier on the hottest setting. Everything should come out nice and clean.
Milk works for ink stains on shirt pockets and so does hair spray.
Good luck.

that totally happenned to me, there are little blu spots all over my dryer. There are a number of ways to get ink out of clothes, I'll leave you to the experts for that, see below. However, to get it out of the dryer use rubbing alchohol, or just run the dryer on hot with nothing important in it, it will cook all the moisture out of the ink, and it wont re-adhere to your clothes.

All 3 of those may well be got here upon interior the laundry section in many circumstances. in case you may no longer discover it ask an attendant. carry each and every thing abode or everywhere you have a sink avaible with warm water. Wipe on the spot removing cleanser, prepare alot and positively scrub it in deep. next positioned it throughout the time of the washing gadget with a scoop or 2 of oxyclean(do no longer prepare bleach directly to the exterior, upload it to the load quite, and careful to no longer upload too lots or put in something yet mild colours to avert ruining outfits.). Set the wash settings to as warm as you may, and start up the load. Now you may see that the marker stain has diminished out, next carry it back to the sink and positioned some wipe-on stain remover, oxyclean, and thick cleansing soap or laundry deturgent. Take a broom(sponge won't artwork so nicely) and scrub it decrease than a mild pass of very heat water till it you start to be certain the marker stain fade greater. whilst the cleansing soap starts off to teach bluish from the marker, you already know you're making progression. proceed those steps till you have gotten out that pesky stain. to avert spending too lots money, attempt to do alot greater scrubbing decrease than warm water interior the sink than washing interior the washers. this could take out the marker ink. If it does no longer, then i'm afraid little else will artwork. playstation : If the comparable difficulty applies with a white shirt, then use bleach too, do in basic terms no longer over use it.

Bummer!
I'm not sure if you can get it out of the clothes now. Try rubbing alcohol to wipe out the dryer.
Hope it works!
