I am fitting new taps in my bathroom and need to know the water pressure. Does anyone know how I can work this out please. Thank you in advance

if you contact the local water board office they will send out someone to check it for you and if you have an outside tap they can check it with that so you don't have to be at home when they visit, that was what i did when i wanted to know the pressure for a power shower, and they didn't charge for their time.

B & Q sell a Monument pressure gauge set for about £10.00, Fits tap end or 1/2" iron.

Hi UK builder ( plumber ) here, you can buy or hire a mains water pressure gauge, there are different types that fit taps or BSP thread fittings ( washer connection ) . Local merchants have them or on the nett at places like www.toolstation.com. Happy Days..........
