I would go with a combination of both these answers. cool-soothing light green color with a strip of baseboard or wains coat across the middle. It gives the optical allusion of a bigger room, is is pleasant, yet professional to look at. Good luck.

I dont know why anyone would be installing that horrible paneling, most people are ripping it out!!! But, the only nice paneling I ever saw was called Barn-Plank by Georgia-Pacific!!! It is quite thick in comparison to most paneling and it is real wood laminated to a backer. It is a white-washed color over the wood and very Beautiful!!! It is worth the extra it costs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything else is cheap junk and looks like cheap junk !!!
Hope this helps.
