How to refill a gas lighter?

I have a gas lighter, which is out of gas. the instruction says it can be refilled. Where can I buy little packed gas can? When I refill it how I can know it is full?

It's called Butane, it's got a little nipple on the can,, you put your lighter on it, matching little brass plug on the bottom, when it overflows, it's done, keep away from flame during this procedure.

Asda/Tesco sell canisters of gas. Give it a good blast of gas.....you never know when its 100% ful.
