Okay it sounds funny but we need to get a load of artifical fish for a community theatre production as a prop. The problem is we need a lot, and looking online they seem to be £10 per fish! since we cant use real fish coz they would stink out the theatre, can anyone suggest cheaper places we can get some?

I have two outlets in my office. They are 4 feet apart. In Outlet #1 I have my monitor, lamp (2 bulbs @ 25 watts each), and a little thing that keeps my coffee cup warm. In Outlet #2 there is a UPS (power backup) and the light over my desk (2 florescent bulbs, 3 feet long). In the UPS is a power strip with my PC, phone, and... a little tiny space heater (155 watts). Now... why does the space heater keep blowing the circuit and how can I figure out what I can / can't have running at the same time?

Thank you so much! Electricity is one of those things that I don't understand!

I am looking for an evergreen climber that will grow quickly to cover a pergoda. I am not worried about it flowering. I did buy a grape vine but have found out that it is not evergreen. Help please.

The filing cabinets are old and rusty on the bottom but otherwise in good condition but we need to find a mat or something to go underneath and I didn't know if maybe there was something specific we could use or if we will have to be creative. Any ideas would be great!

We had 3 very cold days of 20 degrees in Phoenix AZ this winter and my large outdoor ficus trees have turned brown but not all the leaves are falling. Will they come back?

Hi there, our office has had two bamboo stems in water for about a year and it is almost three feet tall. I was wondering if it would be possible to take a leaf from it and grow another. As you can tell, I am a little bit of a dummy when it comes to this. Any tips or advice how to do it would be great.

Here's the deal....
The toilet is clogged for no *obvious* reason. I've plunged til I can't plunge anymore. For awhile it would drain slowly at least, but now not at all. I thought maybe the pipes are frozen, but I've lived here for 3 winters and it's never happened before. Maybe the landlord never maintained the sptic system, but then wouldn't everyone be having a problem? I cannot afford a plumber. I'm on a very limited budget. Any suggestions?
Please... serious replies only.

My mother bought a black nylon shagged mat for her bedroom, and after three washings, the blasted thing is still leaving a trail of carpet tufts under her feet and on the hallway carpet. Does anyone have a solution to stop this mat from shedding?

Do you need to get permission from your local council to convert two inside cupboard into a small box room/study,both up stairs neighbours have done this without permission an di'm worried when the walls are removed the ceilings will all cave in .If we've permission and have architect drawings who will be liable for any damage done.

I don't want any heat blowing into my master bedroom. The register on the ceiling can be closed, but then it "whistles" when the furnace comes on. I don't want to take it off each winter and block the air supply. Is there a cover I can buy? The magnetic ones will not work here.

my room has cherry-red walls with a light turquoise ceiling.. the theme is bollywood - purple and gold sheets, turquoise and fuschia accents, colorful diwan pillows..
but, its time for a change.. i want to keep my walls and ceiling the same color but i just want a new theme or a new color (preferably a light one) to tie in with these two colors so i can have a "new" room.
any ideas? thanks!

We are thinking about moving to a townhouse, but we've never had a patio on the first floor. The new place appears to have a certain kind of screen that should block out a lot of the dirt that would enter from the outside into the screen,, but i am thinking that i would remove it because you can't see through it and i like a regular see through screen. Dirt is sure to get in but i would just sweep, but is it really that bad of a problem?

I was just wondering if there is a solution that I can buy that I can put in the dishwasher and run (without dishes) to clean the inside of the dishwasher a little. Our drain was partially clogged for a week, and the inside walls are a bit discolored.

Would it hurt the seals, and other functions if I were to run a little bleach through it, or would that mess it up. How much bleach is good.

Or what other cleaner can I get.

Please only people that have tried this, answer. Thanks.

Mike
