I have tried washing them down but that didnt work, dry brushing is working but it is really hard work and I can only reach a certain area and can only do a few minutes at a time due to arthritis.
Is there another way to do it?

Go into Wickes and you can buy a bottle of Tile Grout cleaner. About £7.99. Use rubber gloves and use it neat. Make sure you use a cloth because the dye will come out of the sponge. Don't buy the same product from B&Q cos it doesn't works.

I had to use it once and Wickes' did the job.

Pour it on and watch the grout bubble and use a cloth and water. Not strong smelling or very acidic. Just wear some marigolds. You will find that using something metal will leave grey marks on the tiles, SO DO NOT USE A BLADE.

mildew grows on the soup scum and complicated water deposits left after a tub. Cetavlon, which i'm getting at my interior of sight pharmacy jumbled collectively a twig bottle fairly cuts returned on mildew and mildew. For tiles that have already got a develop, you may desire to scrub the grout nicely. attempt some chlorine, if that would not do it then pass on your interior of sight ironmongery keep and tell them you opt for some mildew remover.this could get the stains out. Then after cleansing your tiles, provide them a twig with the cetavlon, mixed with water in a old window cleanser sprayer. you will discover it knocks it precise out.

There are scrapers which hold a 'Stanley' type blade crosswise; this will do the trick if your tiles are plain smooth surface. Follow up with green nylon scourer. Sorry, but elbowgrease is needed if you can't go for chemicals!

its very difficult to remove grout once it dries, that is why you should always clean it whilst it is wet.

you can visit your local b&q and see if they have some cleaning liquid to remove grout. you may be asked to dilute this in some water and scrub.

if it is lots, you will need to scrape it first. get someone to help you as you sound to be having health issues

be very careful with acids. wear rubber gloves and have rinse water handy. You should have something to neutralize the acid. Washing soda in water works.

Whichever way you choose it is going to be hard work. Why did you leave it to dry? It's supposed to be wiped off when its still damp. You could try an ice scraper?!
