I'm redecorating my living room and am looking for some funky throw/toss pillows. Nothing with fake fur or neon colors but funky and different.

Does anyone know where I can find these pillows?

Thanks in advance for your help!! Have a great day!!! :)

I've already looked at the usual places (Crate & Barrell, TJ Maxx, Target, WalMart, Marshall's, World Market, Bed Bath and Beyond, Linens n' Things...) and didn't find what I'm looking for. Maybe someone could suggest a cool on-line store???

You could try Overstock.com, domestications.com, and Penneys, Sears, (stores or websites) Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble (bn.com). Barnes and Noble isn't just a book site anymore, it is a superstore like Amazon. Also keep checking the same stores you already visited. This is the change of season...so spring stuff is coming out and that means a whole new inventory. Also try Ross stores if there are any in your area.

Usually you have such better luck finding strange and wonderful patterns if you go to fabric stores, rather than waiting for all the right details to appear in one place. Not always cheaper but there is a bargain bin most places, or you can shop for remnants. Lots of whimsical craft fabric, fake leathers, fuzzy stuff, etc. Then you simply sew on three sides, stuff or fit over a preformed craft pillow, and sew it shut. If you aren't a seamstress, this is the perfect project to try, and if you do have experience, you can do a pillow in about a half hour.

You can also sew souvenier teeshirts shut at the bottom, sleeves, then stuff it full of fluff, and sew the neck shut for an interesting pillow! Great idea for kid sized hand me downs that survived the last kid...gives them a new life, keeps the memory of the event alive, and they are a good size for a toss pillow. This would be great for all but the most formal decor.

If you have these stores where you are, they are great for odd/one of a kind things:
TJ Maxx or HomeGoods (House stuff by TJ Maxx)
Old Time Pottery
Good Luck!

How about buying some regular pillows in the colors you want and then decorating them yourself with beads and trims?
