The "best" tip I got from a local outdoor store was to put a couple tennis balls in the dryer(cool air,not hot) with your jacket or anything down. The balls help seperate and fluff up the feathers. I do this to my vests and sleeping bag...turn out great!
Hope this helps you.

Outside on a breezy day is best, but you'll have to turn it and shake it during drying, so that the down ( which is the soft 'fur' from a ducks breast) is spread out evenly. If you can borrow a mates tumble dryer, put 3 tennis balls in the dryer with the jacket - this will do the same!

Not sure what a down jacket is, but try drying it until nearly dry then blow dry it with your hair dryer.

you'll have to just let it air dry. I dont know if you live in the south but its pretty freakin hot down here during the day. it'll be easy to dry. but that's basically it. Just hang it up in your house. you dont wanna mess that jacket up.
