does anyone know where i can get some birdseye maple wood?

It needs to be about 5in x 5in and about 3 feet long, its for making gun stocks

The only place I know is on the Oregon coast. The web http://www.gunstockblanks.com/Wood.htm has some places to get started.

Most hard wood flooring stores (that do true tongue & groove wood) will be able to find it for you. I own a small retail store & have a flooring showroom for an installer within my store- they can get birdseye maple (they have gotten it for me).
