I dried my white clothes not knowing there was a black ink pen in the dryer now all my white clothes have ink spots all over them. What can I use to get the ink out of all the clothes? The clothes are covered in ink so hairspray is not an option. Please help.

Bleach is not the answer as it will most likely turn the ink purpleish. Depending where you live see if you can find a product called "DIDI 7" it works the best or give the laundry additive "AMAZE" a try , remember that because it was drier set it may be harder to remove the stains. GOOD LUCK

Why isn't hairspray an option? I have used hairspray on clothes when a pen was left in the dryer and it worked great! You just have to keep at it. Completely soak the stains with hairspray and let it sit for a while, then spray more. You can do this a few times before spraying it one more time and then washing them again. If it doesn't work the first time, don't dry the clothes- start again with spraying the clothes and letting them sit. It will work, but it takes patience!

I would try a BLEACH and if not there is a product that is used to remove ink or take your clothes to a dry cleaners! Good luck :-)
